It is needed if you have 3 to 7 tracks in the same room.

You may program the tracks with a unique channel# so that each track is operated

independently when the particular channel# is selected on the Remote Control.

In the mean time, you may program certain tracks with a common channel# so that

these tracks are operated as a group when this channel# is selected on the Remote Control.

Each track can be in multiple groups if wanted.
